Together with Blanca Pedrín, I had to lead the management and collaboration with authorities and businesspeople. Despite personal sacrifices and some disagreements, the satisfaction of having contributed to the development of the destination makes up for the ups and downs.
Hotel entrepreneur, mother, citizen, and one of the most consistent voices in the restoration of the historic center, beaches, and estuary of San José. Her story is that of a woman who turned her love for her town into concrete projects to beautify it, protect it, and keep its identity alive.
It is essential to value history and remember that downtown San José del Cabo was not always like this; behind it lies hard work, effort, and compromise. In an association, it is necessary to listen to everyone and give in for the common good, because ideas arise and take shape when we walk together.
My greatest contribution to the Historic Center Association has been the time I have dedicated to it, and every day I feel satisfied and deeply grateful for the opportunity to collaborate on this collective project.
I have known Los Cabos since 1962, when there were only 1,300 inhabitants. Today, the population exceeds 400,000, and we still feel like one big family. Back then, you could leave your car and house unlocked, sleep on the sidewalk in summer, and everyone knew each other.

I am proudly from San José del Cabo and belong to the Historic Center Association because I want to help preserve the city's identity. If I may humbly add something, it is that I want everyone to do well.
I decided to join the Historic Center Association in 2008, a difficult year due to the crisis and economic recession. I was encouraged to see that everyone shared the desire to help the community.
Maintaining unity is not easy, as all the owners are leaders with excellent ideas. However, there is still much to be done, and we hope that new businesses will join us to work together for the good of the community.
